Global Music Stars Light Up Dhaka for FIFA World Cup Final Celebrations
As excitement for the FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and Spain reaches its peak this Sunday, Dhaka is set for a vibrant double celebration. Music lovers across the capital can look forward to two major concerts featuring internationally acclaimed DJ and music producer Sanjoy Dev and popular local singer Pritom Hasan. These special events will add a festive soundtrack to the highly anticipated football showdown.
Bangladeshi-origin international DJ and producer Sanjoy Dev has already arrived in Dhaka, ready to bring his global beats to his home city. Sanjoy recently gained significant attention after performing alongside Bollywood star Nora Fatehi at the World Cup opening ceremony in Canada. Following this, he also entertained crowds at several World Cup fan festivals across different cities in the United States.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, Sanjoy shared his excitement about returning to perform in Dhaka, calling it the place where his musical journey first began. He will be joined on stage by fellow DJs Trisha and Rishad for his performance. After his Dhaka show, Sanjoy is scheduled to fly to California for another concert in San Francisco.
Meanwhile, another grand event titled “Final Kickoff” will take place at the United Convention Center in Dhaka. This special gathering promises a thrilling experience, combining a live screening of the World Cup final on giant screens with an energetic concert. The musical highlight of this event will be a performance by popular singer Pritom Hasan.
Pritom Hasan will share the stage with a lineup of talented artists, including Firoz Jung, The Brown Testament, and Jessia Islam. The “Final Kickoff” event is designed to immerse fans in the World Cup atmosphere, running from the night of July 19th until the morning of July 20th.
