Millions of Students Discover SSC Results This Monday
This Monday, August 10, over 1.8 million students in Bangladesh will get their exam results. These are for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations. This news ends a long wait for candidates across the country. The results will come from 11 education boards.
Students can easily check their results in several ways. They can use a simple SMS message to get their scores. The results will also be available online. These will be found on the websites of all education boards. A specific education board website will also publish the scores for quick access.
The results this year are coming later than expected. Normally, SSC and equivalent exam results are published within 60 days. Based on this, results were expected by July 20. However, education boards are releasing them almost three weeks after the usual date.
A total of 1,857,344 candidates took the examinations this year. Among these, 930,305 were boys. The number of girl candidates was 927,039. These students came from 30,666 schools and colleges. They sat for their exams at 3,885 different centers nationwide.
Most candidates studied under the general education boards. These students numbered 1,418,318. Another 303,286 candidates took their Dakhil exams under the madrasa board. Finally, 134,660 students sat for exams under the technical education board. These results are an important step for all these young people.
