Over 1.8 Million Students Await SSC Results Tomorrow
The long wait for nearly two million students in Bangladesh is almost over. The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be released tomorrow. This publication will happen on Monday, August 10, 2026.
Students can find their results starting at 10:00 am. They can check through their own schools. The results will also be available on education board websites and by mobile phone SMS.
The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced this information. Their notice was issued on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
A new phone number has been added for checking results via SMS. Students can now send their messages to 16140, in addition to the existing number 16222.
To get results by SMS, open your mobile phone’s message option. First, type “SSC”. Then add a space. Write the first three letters of your education board’s name. For example, type “DHA” for Dhaka Board.
After that, add another space and type your roll number. Then put one more space and type the examination year, “2026”. Send this message to either 16222 or 16140. An example message would be “SSC DHA 113456 2026”.
Results will also be available on the education board websites. Students can visit eduboardresults.gov.bd or educationboardresults.gov.bd. These two websites will show the full results.
The 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21. Theoretical exams continued until May 20. Practical examinations were then held from June 7 to June 14.
A total of 1,857,344 candidates took part in these exams. These students appeared under the country’s 11 education boards. Among them, 930,305 were boys. The remaining 927,039 candidates were girls.
