Bangladesh Creates History with Dominant Test Win in Australia
Bangladesh made history on Sunday. The team secured its first-ever Test cricket victory on Australian soil. Bangladesh defeated Australia by nine wickets in Darwin in the first Test match. This historic win has surprised many in the cricketing world.
Australia batted first and scored 198 runs. Bangladesh replied strongly with 426 runs. Tanzid Hasan scored a maiden Test century for Bangladesh. This gave Bangladesh a big lead of 228 runs in the first innings.
Australia then struggled in their second innings. They were bowled out for 284 runs. This meant Bangladesh needed only 57 runs to win the match. Mominul Haque hit the winning runs. He sealed the victory by hitting a boundary.
