Chance to Study in America: US Program Opens Applications for Bangladeshi Students
More than 500 Bangladeshi students have already studied in the United States. They participated in a special exchange program. The US Embassy in Bangladesh now invites applications for the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program. This exciting opportunity is for the Spring Semester of 2027.
Bangladeshi high school students can apply for this unique program. Selected students will live and study in the United States for one full semester. The YES Program helps young people grow into future leaders. They will learn deeply about American culture and its core ideas. Participants will also share the rich culture of Bangladesh with American families.
Students chosen for the YES Program will live with an American host family. They will become part of a local community. They will attend an American high school. Since 2004, a total of 530 Bangladeshi students have joined the YES Program. These students gained valuable international experience and understanding. The selection process is very competitive.
