Class XI Admission Portal Extends Deadline After Result Changes
Thousands of students applying for Class XI admission have an important update. The official online portal, xiclassadmission.gov.bd, now includes revised Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results. This change follows recent re-scrutiny of examination papers.
The Class XI admission authority announced this news on Friday, September 11, 2026. Students whose results have improved after re-scrutiny can now apply. They can also change their existing applications if needed.
The deadline for online applications has been extended. Students can apply until 8:00 pm on Sunday, September 13. This includes those who missed the earlier application deadline of September 10. Applicants can also change their college preferences until 8:00 pm on September 12 and 13.
Students can find detailed guidelines on the admission website. They can apply to a minimum of five colleges. A maximum of ten colleges or equivalent institutions can be chosen. The application fee for Class XI admission is Tk 220.
Before starting their application, students should gather necessary information. This includes their SSC roll number and registration number. They will also need their education board name and passing year. An active mobile phone number is essential. Students should also have a list of preferred colleges ready. Information about their desired study group is also required.
It is very important for students to check all personal and exam information. They must do this carefully before submitting their application. This helps to avoid mistakes.
The admission policy states there will be no selection or admission test. Class XI admission will be based only on students’ SSC examination results. Seven percent of the total seats are reserved under various quotas. The remaining 93 percent of college seats will be open to all students based on their merit.
Students who receive their re-scrutiny results between September 2 and September 13 can also apply. Their applications will be accepted until 8:00 pm on September 12 and 13. These applicants can also change their college preferences during this period.
The results for selected students will be published at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17. After results are published, students must confirm their admission by 8:00 pm on Friday, September 19. If admission is not confirmed by this time, the selection will be cancelled. The full Class XI admission process will happen from September 20 to September 22. Classes for Class XI will begin on September 23.
