Hajj 2027 Registration Closing Soon: Bangladeshis Urged to Act Now
Bangladeshi Muslims hoping to perform Hajj in 2027 must complete their registration by September 24. This important deadline was set by the Saudi government for all intending pilgrims. The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Bangladesh has strongly urged everyone involved to finish the process on time.
The ministry stressed that the registration period will not be extended. This message applies to pilgrims, Hajj agencies, and banks. They all need to ensure registrations are complete before the deadline.
A notification was issued by the ministry’s Hajj-2 branch on September 9. This reminded everyone of the upcoming cut-off date.
Bangladesh has been given a quota of 78,500 pilgrims for Hajj 2027. Registration for these pilgrims began earlier, on July 27.
Once the registration period ends, the final count of Bangladeshi pilgrims will be sent to Saudi authorities. This step is necessary to confirm the number of people traveling from Bangladesh.
After this confirmation, several other important activities will start. These include sending funds to Saudi Arabia. Health examinations for pilgrims will also be conducted. Visa processing will begin for all registered individuals. Pilgrims will also receive necessary vaccinations. Finally, Hajj training sessions will be held to prepare pilgrims for their journey.
Pilgrims and agencies should not delay. Completing registration on time ensures a smooth process for everyone. This will help them prepare for the sacred pilgrimage in 2027 without any issues.
