Dutch-Bangla Bank Opens Scholarship Applications for 2026 SSC Students

Dutch-Bangla Bank (DBBL) announced a new scholarship program. It is for students who passed the 2026 SSC and equivalent exams. This program helps bright students from families needing financial support. These scholarships will assist students in their higher secondary education. The financial help will last for two years.

Eligible students can apply online. The deadline to apply is September 4, 2026. Dutch-Bangla Bank has a long history of helping students. They support those in higher secondary, undergraduate, and postgraduate studies. This new program continues that important work across the country.

The scholarship offers good financial aid. Each selected student will get 2,500 Taka every month. They will also receive 2,500 Taka yearly for school materials. Another 1,000 Taka will be given each year for clothing.

There are specific academic requirements. Students from city areas need a GPA of 5.00. This GPA excludes their fourth subject. Students from district towns also need a GPA of 5.00. For rural and underdeveloped areas, the minimum GPA is 4.83.

Dutch-Bangla Bank has other important scholarship rules. Students cannot get scholarships from other private sources. They can, however, receive government scholarships. A large part, 90 percent, of the scholarships are for students from rural areas. Also, 50 percent of all scholarships will go to female students.

Interested students must apply only through the official Dutch-Bangla Bank website. Applicants need to upload scanned copies of documents. These include a color passport-size photo of themselves. They also need similar photos of their father and mother. A scanned copy of the SSC marksheet and certificate is also required.

The bank shared key dates for the process. A preliminary list of candidates will be out on September 22, 2026. Document checks will happen from September 23 to October 13, 2026. Shortlisted students must visit a DBBL branch for verification. They need to bring a printed Primary Selection Letter and all original documents. Final results will be shown on the Dutch-Bangla Bank website. The bank will not accept paper applications.
