Dhaka Hotel Brings Imperial Flavours of China to Guests
Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport is hosting a special festival. It is called “Imperial Flavours of China.” This event celebrates Chinese cuisine, culture, and heritage. It will run from August 13 to August 19.
The hotel’s Mosaic restaurant offers a dinner buffet. It features many authentic Chinese dishes. Guests can also find Asian-inspired food and unique desserts. Traditional items include Ma Lai Go and Jian Dui. Jian Dui are also known as Sesame Balls.
Classic Chinese Egg Tarts and Traditional Mooncakes are also served. Other sweets include Eight-Treasure Rice Pudding and Almond Jelly with Lychee. Guests can also try Chinese Banana Fritters.
The buffet also includes Asian specialties. These are Thai Sweet Coconut Sticky Rice with Mango. There is also Coconut Tapioca Pudding with Mango and Pomelo. Five-Spice Chocolate Chiffon Cake is another dessert choice.
Beyond food, guests can enjoy cultural performances. Vibrant Dragon Dance shows will take place throughout the week. Other traditional Chinese cultural acts will also be featured. These performances bring the spirit and festive energy of China to Dhaka.
Mr. Sun Xin inaugurated the festival. He is the Station Manager of Air China. His presence marked the start of the “Imperial Flavours of China” celebration.
Ashwani Nayar spoke about the festival. He is the Area General Manager for IHG Southwest Asia. Mr. Nayar also manages Crowne Plaza Dhaka Airport. He said the festival is more than just a dinner buffet.
He explained it is a celebration of Chinese food, culture, and heritage. The hotel carefully put together real flavours and old dishes. Cultural shows are also part of the immersive guest experience. Mr. Nayar expressed honor to welcome Air China for the inauguration.
